Welcome to August! The farmer’s market this week was filled with basil, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and melons. All the first signs of the late summer season! The late summer season at my house started with a clutch of chicks hatching yesterday from under a very patient mother hen. Farm life, whether you live on a farm or not, really is a magical thing. Each week you enjoy vegetables grown by our farmers’ hands – the same hands that worked the soil, planted the seeds, pulled the weeds, and harvested and cleaned them. What is more magical than that? Life from its very beginning all happening on the farm and nourishing more life. We are so grateful that you, our shareholders, share our wonder and support of this most basic and remarkable truth. Thanks for sharing this journey with us.
Sedona members will begin picking up their shares at Posse Grounds Park this week. From Posse Ground Rd., turn left at the Posse Grounds Park sign. Distribution will be held in the breezeway of the building by the playground. If you get lost or have any questions, please contact me at (928) 300-8623.
Best wishes,
Meghan
