This week marks the end of the first half of our season. The veggie slump is over and this week your basket will be overflowing with delicious vegetables. We are also including the last pluots of the season, a larger variety called “Apple Dandy.” This may be the last of the pluots, but peaches and apples are coming into season, so expect to see those soon. This week at the Cornville distribution, Willowbrook Farm will be serving up a variety of appetizers made with their pluot preserves. All members are welcome to stop by and sample their treats.
For Sedona shareholders, this will be the last week we will be distributing at ChocolaTree. Beginning next week, August 5th, our Sedona distribution will be held at Posse Grounds Park. From Posse Ground Rd., turn left at the Posse Grounds Park sign. Distribution will be held in the breezeway of the building by the playground.We are so grateful to the owners and staff at ChocolaTree for allowing us to use their space for the first half of the season. However, ChocolaTree was just not the right fit for the CSA. We hope that you will enjoy the ample parking and open space that Posse Grounds Park will provide. If you are splitting your share, or a friend sometimes picks it up for you, please be sure to let him/her know that our location has changed.
