September 28, 2022

We have another wonderful Autumn produce basket for you this week, full of apples, carrots, kale, roasted chiles, onions, cucumbers, green beans, and even pomegranates! Pomegranates are one of my favorite fall crops, ripening in late September or early October each year. If you don’t already know the proper way to cut a pomegranate I encourage you to look it up online. Once you know this trick it is super easy to open and enjoy these fruits! They are one of my kids’ favorite and we are so happy each year when they come into season.

As we are entering the last few weeks of the season, it is time to reserve your spot for the 2023 CSA season. You can now sign up online here. As we have for the last few years, we have a waitlist of over 40 people, so the only way to guarantee your share for next season is to sign up by November 12th. After that date I will begin reaching out to those on our waitlist to fill any remaining spots. If you would prefer to mail in a physical contract, you can print out the Early Bird Contract or pick one up at CSA distribution beginning next week. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Have a fabulous week!
Meghan
