This week brings apricots (yum!), the start to what looks to be a good fruit season. Apricots do get soft quickly, so please enjoy them within a day or two for best results. They make a great snack on the drive home from CSA pickup. Also new this week are broccolini and edible flowers. Use the flowers to spruce up your salad mix for a very Instagram-worthy meal. Broccolini is more mild than regular broccoli and can be used in place of broccoli in most recipes. Be sure to include the tender stalks; they are delicious. I’ve included a brocollini recipe below if you need a little inspiration.
Have a delightful week!
