July 17, 2024

Happy Monday! Hopefully you have all been staying cool and enjoying the little bit of rain we received yesterday.

This week we have possibly my favorite CSA item: carrots. Whipstone Farm’s carrots are beyond delicious. They are sweet, crisp, and so fresh that you will never be able to think of a store-bought carrot the same way again. Hilary planted a test-run of carrots at Willowbrook Farm this season and she is happy to report that they did well and she learned a lot in the process. She is planning to add them to her rotation next year, so hopefully we will enjoy many more carrots!

Invoices for the second half of the season went out last week. If you have not yet seen your invoice, please be sure to check your junk mail folder. Payments for the second half of the season are due on July 22nd, so please send your payment in promptly.

I will be on two Colorado River rafting trips for the next few weeks and will be completely unreachable. If you need to get in touch regarding CSA matters, please contact Hilary at 928-592-8886 or [email protected]. Hilary will be sending out the newsletters on Monday morning as usual, but they will be short and sweet. Please enjoy all the delicious produce while I am away!

Have a wonderful few weeks!
Meghan
