July 12, 2023

The heat has been pretty intense this week, so I want to give a big shout out to all the local farmers planting, harvesting, weeding, washing, and prepping the produce that feeds so many. Farming is a hard enough job without temperatures hovering around 100 degrees, so let’s send all of our growers a little extra love this week.

Despite the heat, crops are still catching up from the long, cool spring. This week’s list (minus the plums and garlic) matches the produce we were getting in mid-May pretty well. It has been an interesting season so far for sure, but I am going to enjoy every bag of spring salad mix that I can!

Have a wonderful week!
Meghan
