Happy halfway point of the season! We have made it to week 11, the mid-point of the CSA season. For those of you who will not be joining us for the second half, this is your final week of produce. And for the rest of you, thank you for your continued commitment and support of our local growers!

Summer crops are really coming on strong now and it is quite a change from just a few weeks ago. We even have our first tomatoes of the season! With eggplant, summer squash, cabbage, and broccolini also in this week’s shares, I’m thinking about roasting vegetables and mixing them into pasta salads, making cabbage wraps and sauerkraut, and just appreciating this rainbow of produce.

Have a cool week!

These golden cherry tomatoes are so sweet you can eat them like candy.

Loving this dark variety of eggplant at Willowbrook Farm.

Lettuce seedlings for Willowbrook’s fall planting.
