This week I am so excited for our first taste of Whipstone Farm’s delicious carrots! They are like candy, so enjoy them! If you’re not one for fresh carrots, try pairing them with Tyler’s leeks for a delicious Roasted Carrot and Leek soup. Either way they are sure to be delicious.
I am off to Colorado for a week, but I am looking forward to returning next week just in time for the first distribution of our flower share! I ran into Shanti from Whipstone Farm at Flagstaff Farmers’ Market last weekend and she gave me a bouquet of their gorgeous lilies. We are so lucky to have such amazing flowers available locally. This is the last week to sign up for the flower share, so if you would like to enjoy twelve weeks of beautiful fresh flowers, please contact me.
Have a wonderful week!
Meghan
